The ATB Portugal/Europe Exhibition: available at the Portuguese Youth Institute at the Parque das Nações, Lisbon. Os trabalhos ATB de alunos de mais de 20 escolas portuguesas e de escolas da Alemanha, Roménia, Polónia, Grécia, Estónia estarão até final de Dezembro no Edifício Lápis, Espaço Juventude@Lisboa, CMLisboa. You will be able to see ATB outcomes from over 20 Portuguese schools, and from schools from Germany, Romania, Poland, Greece, Estonia till the end of December at the Pencil Building, Juventude@Lisboa Meeting point, a space from the Lisbon Townhall.

Aqui tem trabalhos de um Jardim de Infância e Escola EB1 de Paredes em Rio Caldo, uma lindissima região do norte de Portugal. Os trabalhos das 63 crianças versaram O Sábio Julgamento de Salomão:Duas Mães, Um Filho; a Parábola do Bom Samaritano e a Parábola dos Talentos a Usar.
Here is some of the contribution of 63 children from a beautiful region in Portugal that worked on Solomon's Wise Judgement: Two Mothers, one Baby; The Parable of The Good Samaritan, The Parable of The Talents to be Multiplied.

Tarefa ATBible em 90 Minutos - 90 Minutes ATBible assignment

Cerca de 15 escolas de Lisboa e arredores já realizaram este ano a Tarefa 90 minutos de aula ATB. Foi envolvida pelo menos uma turma de cada escola e um Professor de Inglês, ou de Educação Cívica, ou de Área de Projecto, de Religião , de Português ou de Artes... no caso de algumas escolas estiveram envolvidas duas ou mais destas disciplinas. Aos alunos é contado o texto do Filho Pródigo/ do Bom Samaritano/ da Parábola do Semeador/da Decisão de Salomão sobre as Duas Mães/ de David e Golias...em inglês ( em português em Jardim de Infância, onde a ênfase é dada a vocábulos, números, sons em Inglês) com a ajuda de desenhos, cartões, frases....os alunos desenham o que ouviram e juntam-lhe textos, títulos, palavras, legendas, balões de fala em inglês...tudo em apenas 90 minutos.

About 15 schools in Lisbon and its surroundings have completed in 2006/2007 the 90 minute class ATB task with the involvement of at least one class and one teacher per school, usually the Teacher of English, but, in some cases, the Teacher of Civics /Project Area/Religion/ Arts or the Portuguese Teacher. In a couple of these schools more than one subject has been directly involved. The students listen to the telling of Bible texts such as The Prodigal Son/ The Good Samaritan/ The Parable of the Sower/ Solomon's Wise Decision on the Two Mothers/ David and Goliah...usually in English ( in Kindergartens the emphasis is given to words, numbers, sounds in English ). Then they draw part or the whole sequence they have just heard and add some texts/ subtitles/ speech bubbles, in English, to the pictures with bigger or smaller support of the teachers in class....all in all this takes a 90 minute class to complete the whole assignment.

Com base no quadro Naufrágio de um Cargueiro do pintor inglês, Turner, duas turmas da Secundária D. Dinis apresentaram ilustrações e um album de textos e desenhos, reflectindo sobre a reacção do homem face às tempestades naturais e emocionais da vida. Partindo do texto Jesus Acalma a Tempestade e da narrativa do Naufrágio do apóstolo Paulo, concluiram os participantes que emoções como o receio, a preocupação, a ansiedade, o medo, o pavor, mas também a fé, a confiança em Deus, nos homens, a inter-ajuda... continuam a caracterizar, no século xxi, os posicionamentos dos homens face a perigos.

Having as starting point a picture on a SHIPWRECK by the English painter Turner, and associating the emotional drama presented there to the drama lived by the disciples in Jesus Calms the Seastorm and by the sailors and soldiers in Apostle Paul's Shipwreck, there was a growing awareness that, after so many centuries, men react before danger much about the same. with surprise, fear, anxiety, terror...but also with trust and confidence in God, in fellowmen, hope...
