CHRISTMAS at Escola Secundária Maria Amália Vaz de Carvalho

Photos show the nativity scene in this school, outcomes of an evening where some classes met together to learn more about the reason why some objects as the advent crown, the stars, the Christmas tree, the sugar cane, the Jesse Tree, holly, the candles and lights are specially used in the Christmas decorations and lernt the connection they have to Christ's Life or Character. Also various moments of Christmas carol singing took place in a very nice, relaxed atmosphere...

The outcomes of the schools were exhibited and the jury decided they all ALL VERY GOOD!.. but the votes decide the best was the one made ... by the youngest of them all...NOAH'S ARK by Jardim de INFÂNCIA de Marvila nº 2. Os trabalhos das escolas estavam expostos e o juri decidiu que TODOS ESTAVAM MUITO BONS!.. mas os votos decidiram que o melhor era o que tinha sido produzido pelos mais novos de todos a concurso...A ARCA DE NOÉ pelas crianças do Jardim de INFÂNCIA nº 2 de Marvila.

WATER FOR LIFE ACROSS THE BIBLE AND NOWADAYS- eTwinning project

Here you can see a small movie with some of the results of the cooperation of 3 countries in this etwinning project: Portugal,Romania, Germany.
The 5 schools ( 3 from Romania, representing different age groups and backgrounds )have made work representing various Bible texts presenting some different meanings/ contexts of water in the Old and New Testaments. Furthermore, the pupils have become aware of how important water is in their daily routine and also of the fact that there are many people around the world who would like to have the privilege to use as much water as they do. This implies a greater responsibility in the use and management of water on the side of those who presently have it abundantly.

As 5 escolas (3 da Roménia, representando diferentes faixas etárias e enquadramentos diversos ) produziram trabalhos ilustrativos de vários textos da Bíblia sobre alguns significados/contextos diferentes da água no Velho e Novo Testamentos. Além disso, os jovens ganharam uma maior consciência da importância da água na sua rotina diária e do facto de que há muitas pessoas no mundo que gostariam de ter o privilégio de usar tanta água quanto eles. Uma responsabilidade acrescida na utilização e gestão da àgua à disposição daqueles que presentemente a têm em abundância...

O casamento em Caná da Galileia: um final feliz graças à transformação de água em vinho - Jesus' Miracle avoids great shame and an unhappy ending

The Wedding at Cana had a happy ending because Jesus changed water into wine. Otherwise it would have ended in shame and disgrace for the young couple and for the families involved.

Formação eTwinning - Professional Development Workshop Germany

De 9 a 11 de Março deste ano, teve lugar em Bona, na Alemanha, um workshop dinamizado pela comissão internacional eTwinning.
Portugal esteve representado por um elemento do CRIE(Equipa de Missão Computadores, Redes e Internet na Escola) e por quatro professoras portuguesas, uma delas a coordenadora nacional do AcrossTheBible - Portugal.
